Philabundance is the region's largest food bank and food rescue organization. They provide food to partner member agencies in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia Counties in Pennsylvania, and Burlington, Camden, Gloucester and Mercer Counties in New Jersey. Philabundance works to fight hunger by collecting food from the Philadelphia Food Distribution Center, wholesalers, distributors, supermarkets, restaurants, local growers, importers and community organizations. Last year, they distributed more than 22 million pounds of food to feed those in need.

At the Berks Street site, we will help sort non-perishable food that comes from supermarkets, food drives and food donors. In addition, volunteers will help to stock shelves in the walk-through area where member agencies shop for food.
