In-person Meeting (Mixto, Philadelphia, PA):  Joann Giangiulio; Shannon Groves; Andrew Hartmann; Lydia Holiat; Bob Hunziger; Nishika Vidanage

University Business

The alumni association is looking to schedule a Patriot League Regional Phonathon again this year.  They’re looking at coordinating the event with Lafayette, American and Holy Cross.  Last year the event targeted young alumni however this year it would be open to all alumni.  The event would be a good way to support Lehigh’s outreach and network with others within the Patriot League.  The club agreed to support the event through advertizing and would consider other ways to support the event if needed.

March

Philabundance

The event is scheduled from 8:30AM to 12PM on Saturday, March 10th @ 3616 South Galloway Street, Philadelphia, PA 19148 (located close to Citizens Bank Park).  Alumni will help sort and package donated food.  Attendees must be 14 years or older to participate and the event will be capped at 45.  Andrew is coordinating this event.

March Madness Happy Hour

Tentative – Nishika and Shannon will look into potential locations and dates

April

Citizens Bank Park Tour

Joann is looking into scheduling this event for Saturday, April 21^st @ 11:30AM for 100 alumni.

May

Socially Conscious Philadelphia

Nishika is coordinating this event for Tuesday, May 1^st.  Next step is picking a restaurant to host the event.  All proceeds from the cover charge will benefit Back on Their Feet.

June

Happy Hour

Tentative – possibly a welcome event for the Class of 2012

July

Freshman Sendoff

Scheduled for July 26^th at the home of Tom Ramsey

Spring:  Matador Restaurant wine tasting (Wayne, PA)

Fall:  Barnes Foundation Tour (Philadelphia, PA)

November:  Lehigh-Lafayette Telecast (Philadelphia Suburbs)

Other Club Business

Nishika volunteered to be the Club Treasurer and Shannon volunteered to be the Club Secretary.
